Now that it's clear knitgirl doesn't like her words used that way it would just be good manners to remove the quote.

Friendly respect to everyone - C

Good manners would have been to never have said something you didn't want to be quoted on or to have angrily engaged someone else for posting a POV you didn't agree with. If she was worried about how her words may be used then she would watch what she posts a little more carefully when interacting with those who have a differing opinion than hers or who she chooses to attack with her verbal commentaries. I may have made a comment in someone elses topic, but it wasn't an angry pointed remark directed at that person because I disagreed with their POV and this person took it to heart and overreacted. Ceri, respectfully, I have stated that I will not remove said comment simply because someone who started the entire back and forth is demanding that I do so and wants to get their way. I have not violated the TOS and if I have that is for the forum admin to decide. I am planning to ignore the person in question and it is her decision to let it go or make a stink about it. Either way, I won't be bother with it by her. Good day sir.

BCB come on, let it go, relax - what have you got to prove? Your continual use of Knitgirl's quote, out of context, and after she asked you not to, starts to look like you're trying to humiliate, belittle or anger her. An argument is an argument, no big deal, people move on. But persisting with something, repeatedly, after someone has made it clear that it's unwelcome - that's a good definition of bullying or harassment.

It takes a bigger man to let something go and not have to be right at the expense of someone else's feelings... a big man like, uh, John Henry... remember him, the topic? 8)

I haven't taken anything out of context at all. I quoted directly from her post that SHE posted. Harassment? Please, be real with yourself man. Again, I standby the things I post on here as should anyone else. If you don;t wish to be quoted don't post it. Period. As for what i am trying to prove, well quite simply nothing, but I am also not going to be talked to by someone I who doesn't agree with my comment in the way she chose to conduct herself in the original thread in question. Not going to happen. She started it, got in her petty little stabs and now wants to demand me to do something? Riiight. Obviously if your concern is someones feelings the you don't take into account the way this person spoke to me and others who have had the audacity to disagree with her or not back down from her insults. But that is fine. As I have said before, it will only be removed it the moderator decides to remove it and people should not post anything that they do not intend to stand by. You and I have nothing further to discuss sir as you have made your point an I have made mine, take care of yourself.

Well you did say you would sleep with him... So whats the big deal

All you John Mayer haters need to give it a rest. The fact is he is a better guitar player than you all, a better song writer, he is rich, and he is certainly getting more chicks. I for one would be willing to sleep with him

The fact is he is a better guitar player than you all.....

a better song writer,

he is rich,
----no debate there----
and he is certainly getting more chicks.
----no debate there------
I for one would be willing to sleep with him----
----take care you don't catch his cold......
So there, young lady you have the folly of your remarks. You have absolutely no take on the level of knowledge and experience of the members of the Forum, where they've been, where they've gone, what they done, and you take a broad brush, paint them collectively into a corner, and elevate this twit Mayer onto a pedestal and into your bed to partner your genitals with every other set he's enjoyed.

You need to seriously step back and reassess your act.

The big deal is that I don't want him using my quote in his signature page. I did say the quote. That's not the point. Again, the point is that I don't want him using my quote in his signature.

I'd bet John Mayer doesn't last as long in the sack as this argument has.

Okay slick. Now kindly read the entire thread in the link below. Please start from the beginning. Keep an open objective mind while reading. Then maybe you can understand why I don't want Blackcatbone using my quote in his signature.

BCB, did you miss qoute????

Should we now take this before the courts???

Or should I fix us all a round of drinks, and lets have a good laugh over this whole thing...

Lovin the round of drinks thing! 'We don't need no Civil War, it feeds the rich and it buries the poor'.

Lets end this, come on BCB and knitgirl, you are both good members, can't this just stop please?

I wish Joanne Shaw Taylor would sleep with me btw but sadly it will never happen!

I've already left that one at the station. I'm into the substance of what else has been attributed to you that I've addressed in the aforementioned, and which you seemed so ready to wrap your legs around and declare so publicly. Not to mentioned your uninformed assessment of the capabilities of this entire Forum against the incomparable John Mayer.
On a personal note, I don't own anything of his, but do own everything Joe Bonamassa has produced. If you want to hitch your star to a class act, in my estimation, support Joe's work product, because that's what following an artist is all about. The economic support of an individual's work product. The rest of your talents and capabilities, yet unproven to any of us here, will have to wait until you are both formally introduced.
