I don't really care what you think and I stand by the quote. I am not complaining about anyone commenting on the quote and I could careless what anyone thinks of me. What has me upset is that the small shorts piss ant BCB is using my quote in his signature page without my permission.

Out of fear of being told to shut up, can't knitgirl and BCB just talk it out and straighten things? Seems like an easy fix and I doubt any harm was intended either. Seems a waste to have 2 good members arguing.

Man, what that song did to my child's imagination when I first heard it in 1950's Los Angeles. We used to eat at an LA mexican restraunt, Largo's Mitote. The juke box was amazing. It had "He'll Have to Go" "Stagger Lee" and so many other classic songs. I used to watch the bubbles rise in my father's beer, and ask questions about all the adult themes in those tunes.


Looking back, it's a miracle my folks didnt tie me in a potato sack and throw me in a lake. Maybe they knew there were ladies that needed de-bauching, and somebody would have to do it.

I'm with knitgirl on this, (and I'm male) it's a simple matter of respect to ask someone if you can use their words - in life - a forum is no different to any other place people meet and communicate. Why fight when we can be sharing knowledge, jokes n stories, and learning from each other?

Cool sig BTW! I wrote that about Lonnie Johnson, he's definitely underrated when the lists of greatest guitarists come up.

And yes you are right, I have only played for 1 year and I am a terrible guitarist, hell even I would have told you that. It is possible to know a lot about Fender products without being a guitar god. I'd imagine there are plenty of non-playing workers in the Ensenada plant that know tenfold what you, I and many others know. But that doesn't matter.

As for the rest, post what you like, I'll do the same. You aren't going to get to me or ruin my experience here at the Fender forums no matter how hard you try or regardless of what you say about me or what you put in your sig about me. You take care.
