You could always buy a left handed Tele and swap out the pickups.

I've always wanted a Telecaster, and that will be my next guitar. I'm a bit of a metal head though, so I was wondering if it's possible to change a normal Tele into an HH Tele. I wish they made a Tele with humbuckers lefty.
Thanks for the help!

Anything is possible, it just depends on which lengths financially and irreversibly mod wise you a prepared to go. An easier way out for you may be to buy stacked humbuckers.

Will those stacked humbuckers give the same sound as normal ones?

If you choose the right ones, they will surely do the job.

Not really but I find stacked singlecoil sized buckers to be more aggressive than normal buckers and beter for metal. The only metal pickup I've found that beats a dimarzio fast track 2 is the EMG81.

Well what do you want the neck position for?

Clean Vintage?
Clean Modern?
Blues?
Blues Rock?
Creamy 70's metal?

yaddayadda the list is endless.

Myself my ultimate guitar would have a EMG89 in the bridge for metal. A 57/62 in the middle position that became the dominant sound whenever engaged. Even in 2/4 position and make them sound just like a strat. I'd have a Duncan Jazz in the neck.
I dont know how to make that happen and it's probably no good for you anyway. What sound do you want when you hit the neck position?

I would like to have kind of a punk rock sound. You may have noticed I don't know that much about pickups. I'm not sure if there are any single coil pickups that would fit in the neck of a Tele that have the punk sound, but that's what's ideal for me.

A DiMarzio Twang King would.

Why don't you just get a Tele Deluxe that has two wide range hum buckers in it. And remember the J-5 thats a triple deluxe with 3.

Wouldn't be kind of boring to have humbuckers in all of your guitars?
A Tele with single coils can do punk.
Thanks Joe Strummer.
