Custom Shop question,

hey guys, Has anyone bought from the custom shop before? My wife has talked about buying me a really nice strat when the mortgage is payed off. I can't seem to find the exact fit. Thought of the David Gilmour but not terribly fond of the color, love the David Murray Strat but also not thrilled with the color. The closest i can find is the Delux HSS with the Dakota Red but not sold yet on the Black pickguard and PUPs. I was wondering if you guys new if Fender offered a way to have not necessarily a custom color made etc. but offered a way to pick the body from their available colors, the neck, pups etc.

You can have whatever you want. If you want a purple Gilmour they'll do it for you. It just wont say Gilmour on the COA.
