last night at the lynn memorial auditorium. anyone else there?
i thought they did a fine job. only things missing were carl palmer and keith's cognak. i didn't care much for the electronic percussives, but other than that it was a great show.

Saw them at the Garden or Lincoln Center, years ago, 1st row center...got one of Carl Palmer's drum sticks, no idea where that is. Keith started the show by being slowly lowered to the stage attached to the piano bench. The whole thing, Keith, piano bench, and piano were upside down and he's just playing away. Amazing...

I would've loved to see that,ELP and King Crimson were favourites of mine.

ELP's got a reunion tour scheduled for the UK right now... i think keith and greg might be testing the waters for the US. i hope so. i really missed palmer last nite.
set list last nite was:
from the beginning
i talk to the wind
witch's crystal (site wouldn't let me spell the other word)
take a pebble
c'est la vi
(some instrumental wonders from works)
piano solo from keith dedicated to our troops
q&a session with the audience
pirates
and lucky man for the encore

short list, i know, but long songs for the most part.

emerson still has his big switchboard from 1968, hammond b3 with the leslie... no grand piano though.
lake had 6 & 12 string acoustics, and a fender precision.

awesome show.

Was never a huge fan but From the Beginning is one of my all time favorite acoustic jams.

That must have been many years ago, they did that a long time back when I seen Emerson, Lake and Palmer
