I think most guitar players will like this one. It's a 'live' CD/DVD recorded last November and recalls late Telemaster, Danny Gatton with his use of harmonics and plank spankin' string slingin' skills.

He revisits 10 instrumentals from his first two albums, plus four new tracks including a great rendition of The Beatles' "The Night Before".

A wide variety of tones and styles ranging from the haunting rendition of "Witchita Lineman" to the searing heat of the Hendrix inspired "Jimi Jam" without missing a lick or hitting any clunkers.

It's called "One November Night" and if you like guitar instrumentals done "live" and "real fine", I think you'll like this one.

Mike, I saw Johnny A at a very small club... maybe holds 150 people. He is one excellent guitarist and has a great sense of humor. We talked with him after the show about music while HE was packing his guitars, amps, pedals and mikes. He also personally was selling his cd's. I hope he comes around again.... don't miss him if you get the chance !

I've known him since he started "The Streets" (a Boston bar band). I'm honored to call him a friend of mine.

Excellent player, I have his DVD Taste-Tone -Space in which he performs 8 songs and then breaks down some of the tracks. Does a great instrumental of Wichita Lineman on it. Will definitely be picking this one up.
