Heard this on the radio today, first time I'd heard the whole song, flashback to the 70's Weekend World, Sunday afternoon with Brian Walden,( Jonathon Ross's father ?? ) the sunday roast in oven and this Theme tune starts up 1:43 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0JrV86EKCs&feature=fvw then sit and wait for the commercial break and the end outro.

Any other adopted classics for theme songs ??

I've got "The Road Goes Ever On" on vinyl with a live version of that. It runs about 9 minutes if I recall and it's better than the studio cut by far IMHO. I've never been able to find it on CD.

I'd never heard of Leslie West until I bought a video years ago called Night of the Guitars.

Another theme song was "Whole lotta love" theme for Top of the Pops
