hi, I am new here. My first guitar I owned was a 62' Fender Canday apple red stratocaster with the ash tray. Sweet. Like a dummy it was sold...alas. Now I have a Mex strat that I adore, squier std tele, squier deluxe fat strat, squier wine red with blk pickguard..and a black squier vintage modified fat strat. Love em all. I hate to say it, but all of em play better than my first strat. But maybe that is because I have decades of playing and experience. Still all and all I love em like children. I digress. the point of this post was, whatever happened to the woodshed? I used to get online and go there to learn licks etc. I cannot find it.....if I am being an idiot, that is great, but if it is gone.....why? I sure miss it....any help would be appreciated. thanks

Hi Graybeard welcome to the Forum,I guess like you we all have regrets for letting great guitars go or not buying the right one when we should have.As for the woodshed, sorry I can't help you there.

I Greybeard, and welcome to the forums.
I think the wood shed you are referring to, was part of the Fenders Players Club... Sadly that website is gone.
Well stick around anyway, plenty to learn from all of these fine folks.

Bill

I remember it and yes it is gone. I really think we need a room that is focused just on playing.
