or a basic cooking class ,if you dont learn to cut with your fingers curled in using your knuckles as a guide for the blade you will surely cut yourself. and you will never get fast

Usually the more comfortable you are at doing things the higher the risk for an accident. I grew up across the street from a kitchen making company called Cardinal kitchens and the head carpenter was a guy named Nicky who worked there about 30 years. He was a really good guy and I can remember when we were kids he would lets us go in the factory to take wood to make go carts.

The week he was retiring he went to cut something on the big table saw that used to have this huge vacuum over it to suck all the dust up. Anyway he did not use the safety and wind up cutting four of his fingers off of his left hand and this guy was a master carpenter.

I think Mr. Beck needs a personal Chef.
