I got an iPod for Xmas, and being a bit of a luddite, I resented it's unmechanical processes. But, I did the iTunes thing, finally, and all the stolen music I've transfered from computer to computer ended up on the damn thing.

Well, I listened to it today at work, and between the blues, rock and other hip music I loaded in, there were tracks that were so lame, but so good.
Tracks that could get me kicked out of the hippies, once and for all. My love-beads revoked, the whole thing.

Songs like:
"Memories Are Made of This" Dean Martin
"Walkin' My Cat Named Dog" Norma Tanega
"Stranger in Paradise" Matt Monroe, same guy that sang "From Russia With Love"
"End of the World" Skeeter Davis
"Devil Woman" Marty Robbins
Angel on My Shoulder" Shelby Flint
"Moonglow" Morris Stoloff.

I just wonder what decidedly unhip stuff you all love. Unless, of course, I'm in this all alone.

Ha! Another child of the 70's I see!

I'll cop to having some Leo Sayer tunes on my iPod.

+1 on The Night Chicago Died! Brilliant.

Mine would be Star Trek, all 5 shows, all 11 movies.

That and my stupidly huge Transformers collection.

i dont really see the point in 'guilty pleasures'. I like music and listen to everything from cyndi lauper to slipknot to aic to the prodigy to the stones to qotsa. Its the same with movies, I like things from the life of david gale to finding nemo to pulp fiction to blow. Its just what i like, if thats a problem for anyone then thats there problem not mine. I can't help what I like and dislike.

The Rat Pack. Each one of them a legend in their own right.

Yeah + another one on The Night Chicago Died. I had no idea what the hell it was about, but I used to lie in bed waiting for it to come on the radio because it was so spooky and dramatic. That's not a guilty pleasure tho, just a great song!

Presenting my neighbour with the full 100w placed against the bedroom wall, after giving them time for the booze consumed during party which used to start around three in the morning to start having adverse effect, usually around mid day when all's fell quiet, nothing like a bit of payback, entirely pleasurable no guilt whatsoever though

Ripitup- Oh, sweet revenge. I've always dreamed of doing that to some inconsiderate neighbor.

Bravo. Well done, sir.
