There's such a wide range of styles and guitarists that have influenced me that I have no idea how I'd classify my playing.

First and foremost I am a hard rock guitarist and I play in a hard rock band. Not leaning towards metal or anything, it can do but it doesn't usually. It's heavily blues based and I am from the school of Izzy and Slash, Angus and Malcolm, Joe and Brad and Keef and Ron/Brian/Mick T. I also play in a blues band and for my friends Latin music band. At home I play a lot of slide and some folk and even the odd bit of metal so I can't really give myself a style. I'm just a guitar player and that's that.

Folk, rock, blues. I think that covers it. I actually still use finger picks with my strat for some songs. Kind of a transitional thing from my folk days I guess, but you can do things with claws that you could never do with a flat pick.

I play mostly blues and rock. And........some of my own style, which I really don't no how to describe.

I've recently given up on picks and switched to finger picking exclusively. I rarely played my electrics that way but usually did with the acoustics.

I could never get used to fingerpicks, though. I just use my bare hands.

What kind do you use?

My style mainly consists of blues, but I sometimes I switch to something a bit heavier or some acoustic music. It really depends on the mood I'm in.

I've only met one kid at my school who actually likes blues music and knows how to play guitar well. All the rest are wanna-be rappers and Slipknot fans.

Well I seem to be lucky theres a pretty good sized group at my school that's 60s and 90s Rock

I aspire to play in the style of Muddy Waters. 8)

But for the time being, my playing is a guitar style in the same way that bald is a hairstyle.
