Well done mate! I'll have to check it out. The issue I have has John Mayer on the cover. I take it the one your letter's in must be the one after that?

Cheers.

Uhhh, have no clue on how to scan it, but heres what I said:

Hi AG,
Firstly, great magazine, I wait to get home from boring school and sit down in the swing chair and read it for a hour or so.
I've been wanting a fender jaguar HH for a while now, but it was just until a few weeks ago that I started to get insane about it. I just got a epiphone SG g-400 (great guitar) about 2 months ago, and now I'm GASing horribly for a Jaguar HH. The worst part is, I dont have a job, so I dont get paid an I cant get a job cauise I'm too young. I love playing the guitar, and if I get that I'll have four. Theres no way I'm selling my, Squier strat, SG, ashton, fender frontman 15g or behringer um300. I'm also GASing for a marshall tsl100 and a fender mustang, and I betcha if I get one of them I'll want some other peice of gear.
Any ideas?
Riley

Heres what they said:
Riley, to put it simply, you're screwed. The amount of gear that goes in and out of the office that isn't in any way related to work is ridiculous. Its never gonna change for you either. But hey, its better than collecting model trains or knitting swetters for your grandma. On the plus side starting off with a SG g-400 aint a bad idea. A member of our team spent a whole summer packing oranges at 50c a bag to get one of those back in the olden days.

I lied about my age, got my mom to back my lie up and worked all summer when I was 14, selling cleaning products door to door to buy my 2nd guitar. A '81 Tokai Breezysound (telecaster copy). Looking back there was a lot of risk involved in that, me being so young and knocking on strangers doors. I got the 'wrong end of the ragmans trumpet' a good few times too. Quite a self confidence knock at 14.

Anyway I eventualy got the dough together and bought the guitar. A year later I unwisely swapped the guitar. To this day I dont think I've ever had a guitar that played and sounded as great.

Was that down to the quality of the guitar? I doubt it, I think it has more to do with the effort I put into getting it.
Even now when I see a black Breezysound my heart jumps. I've even played a couple, it's just not the same though.

That's art of why i restored my Ibanez. I too lied about my age, to get a job and buy it. I got fired, because a friend's mother worked in another department of the store, and turned me in!!

I had enough scratch together and bought it. I love that guitar, we had so many good times together.
