Believe it or not, the "brickwork" is actually textured vinyl wallpaper. I had three different wallpaper swatches hanging on that back closet wall for months before finally deciding on this pattern. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Very nice... a neat, organized music room. I need to do that instead of having gear piled up all over the house. GAS does lead to clutter. :)

Great digs you got there, pal. :D

I had a ton of room to myself in a basement in MD. Now I don't have squat. I play thru my main amp in a bedroom when no one is around and in a front room thru a battery powered amp when people are about.

Nick, that's actually the same Squier Standard Strat that features a Ceri-crafted custom neckplate. And that Strat is not the only thing in the room to have made a previous appearance here on the forum. The more observant and obsessed among you may recognize my "cheap & stylish amp stands" or my IKEA-hacked tables.

Yes indeed. It's been a long time coming, but it's nearly there.

Ah. That's one of the details still to be worked out... 8)

I noticed the tables from a previous thread! :D

Love the colour of your Strat. Is that Candy Apple?

Does that make you observant or obsessed?

And yes, the Strat is Candy Apple Red. I got it even before learning from nikininja that red guitars are the fastest. 8)

Oh, I get it now, that "brick" is in the back of a closet, no doors. Great idea.

I showed the photo to my son, told him that is the future of his room, 8) It'll become my gutiar spot.

Yep, that's exactly how I inherited my guitar room.

I kept the closet doors and all the guts in case I ever need to return it to its original condition, but it's my oasis in the meantime. 8)

Most likely obsessed!! 8)

Love that colour. Also like Strats in Candy Cola but Candy Apple Red seems the way to go there.

Well, I finally got my guitar room pretty much the way I want it.

It's a little tight, but there's plenty of room for me and a friend or two to make some noise. I'm pretty happy with it. 8)

I'll be by with some Shiner Bock and my Strat.....
