I can't see how anyone can say that Stevie's version of Voodoo Child is better than Jimi's since every riff that Stevie played in it had been innovated by Jimi.All Stevie did really was take a pile of Jimi's riffs and randomly intersperse them throughout the song.Granted Stevie was a man of incredible talent and soul but I think he'd be the first to admit that Jimi was the undisputed ruler of riffing.
