I like slash. I'll give it a lesson on ituens before I commit to the entire album. Hopefully it's better than Axl's last GnR cd.

I'm happy for him, but underwhelmed. No sale.

Already had it for 2 weeks.

It's not the greatest and isn't even in my top 10 GN'R solo/spinoff's. Couple of good tracks but as an album it's rotten unfortunately.

I'll give it a look for sure. I'm a Slash guy. I do have to say that I can't get over how much exposure he's had over the last year or two when really this has been his only project and it's just coming out. Everywhere I turn there's a picture or interview with Slash. I'm happy for him but he's like Miley Cyrus right now and that's just a little weird for me :D

I wasn't aware he was still active.... I was never even a big GnR fan.

So nowhere as good as the first "Slash's Snakepit" album? I really like that one ...

Well to be honest I was looking forward to it but am disappointed CC gave it a thumbs down as we are both fans of the G&R circle. But I will still check out some tracks and guitar work to see if it catches my ear.

Izzy is actually on one song, as is Steve Adler and Duff McKagan but it's no where near as good as other offerings.

People should do themselves a favour instead of buying this or VR and go for Slash's Snakepit or any of the 10 Izzy Stradlin albums. Or even Duff's Loaded.

I'm underwhelmed, the Slash man sold out long ago and he is no longer the Slash I once loved, his tone has gone and the fire inside has long since went out. Hasn't been 'there' in a long time and the only reason anyone knows about this album is cos he's a bit of a media $@!&#. The other guys have more dignity than building up a solo offering which is just an album of guests in the media spotlight.

Izzy or Duff or Steve don't promote anything, they record cos they love doing it and thats what matters. Plus I'd rather hear Izzy Stradlin with Ron Wood than Slash with Fergie any day of the week.

As Twelvebar said, Slash without Izzy is nothing, it's Jack without Coke. Goes down better with both.

I won't be wasting my money on it. Slash without Izzy, Duff, Steven, and even Capt. Schizo himself, Axl Rose, just doesn't feel right, sorry!

As I said though, everyone but the evil genius is on the album. It's just not good.
