Would YOU see BTO if they came around your area?
Yes, I would because they interest me still, even in their sixties 44%  44%  [ 7 ]
Maybe, maybe not 44%  44%  [ 7 ]

I'm happy to see some BTO fans out there. Anyone who remembers BTO since they broke up(or took a break or whatever) can talk with me anytime. Randy Bachman is one of my influences on my guitar playing, so I was happy to hear about this happening :)

This comes from a 15 year old. 8)

I remember being stationed in Germany (Army) when I got an "Ironhorse" cassette... thanks to YouTube I can still listen to "Sweet Louise". I've always thought that Randy's playing was melodic and tasteful.

I didn't know about them until around '76 when I heard Roll On Down the Highway on a compilation album. I liked their singles but their albums didn't get much time on the radio here.

I would be more interested in seeing the Guess Who. Such an underrated band.

Randy Bachman is another guitarist who doesn't get the recognition he deserved. When he was a teenager living in Winnipeg Lenny Breau saw his knack for playing and took him under his wing, consequently Randy became a very competent jazz guitarist on top or being a skilled rock guitarist.Randy is the oldest member of BTO at 66 years of age.I'd love to see them play even though some of their songs are overplayed,I'd like to hear some of Randy's extended jazz improvs.
