When did fender start making their strings in the USA again? I always loved the 150s but haven't tried a set yet that say "Made in USA". Are they made in Corona, CA or a new facility? I'll buy some this weekend and try them out.

My wife ordered a 6 pack of 250's, a couple of months ago from Musician's friend for $19.99. I don't know if these are being made any more but I did notice after a week or so, they do start to lose their tone. After these run out, I'll be going back to D'Addario's.

Noticed the same thing with fender strings, read lately ME saying everything leaving Custom shop are fitted with D'Addario, good enough for me if good enough for ME :)

I didn't know that Fender made DR's! That's good because that is what I use on my Telecaster (10's) ,and GHS Boomers Gilmour(10's) on the DG Stratocaster!

The GHS boomers are perfect for the black Strat Hop, I'm sure you agree. I just got 10 packs of slinkys the other day, that's what I use on the rest of my guitars. I'll try the new Fender strings next change, probably next month sometime.

Tele had Fender strings, switched to Gibson Brite Wires- loved them. Just recently switched to Infeld made by Thomastik (violin string company). They are definitely worth the price. Reviews have been good as far as life expectancy.
