Yes, I have a band, we've been together for 12 yrs. Our bass player is fighting cancer right now, and has been since last Aug, so I had to cancel a bunch of gig.

We are playing this Fri night in Marietta OH http://www.mariettaohio.org/bluesfestival, should be fun.

Most of the time I play in church, but get together with local guys now and again. Last summer played in 2 different bands for an open air festival, but it's been pretty quiet since then.

I'm in a band called Open Heart Surgery,
we play Grindcore/Hardcore.
It's pretty intense, but i get sick of it sometimes.

we play around 100 shows a year (after touring).

and i also do a lot of solo stuff, i play at local clubs and what not,
i have to do a lot of covers, to keep people happy.
My latest cover is Daughters by John Mayer.

Overall i love gigging.
It's just what i like to to do.

I just started a new 3-piece.
Doing covers for fun. But doing a crazy ecletic mix.

Elvis to Godsmack, etc.

Looking to form a new blues/rock band as well. More chances to play the STRAT and Super Sonic

No more band or gig scenes for me. I'm a home studio recorder. BUt I'll tell you, it sure was an excellent time when I did play with other musicians.

I've never played a gig with anyone but myself and a guitar, but I LOVE playing in bands. Most of my gigs have consisted of solo acoustic work, or doing electric National Anthem performances for school events.

I love jamming with a full band though. Currently working on putting together a blues/rock band that will hopefully take the bar scene pretty strongly this coming school year (freshman in college).

The hard thing about putting together a band is getting them to be into what you are. Chemistry can't be made. It just exists or it doesn't.
