Color options? Pickups? Neck shape? Control options?

I was just curious to see what sort of feedback folks would have. Of course, Fender offers lots of other models, but was wondering where people would like to see the American Standard go in the future...

Give it a soft-v neck and it would be great in my opinion. 8)

I was thinking that they could generate some fanfare with limited runs of some vintage colors...aztec gold, dakota red, blonde, etc. I guess I do see a few used FSR strats with the matching headstocks in colors like sea foam green, fiesta red and LP Blue but it seems like it's been a few years.

A few other things that crossed my mind were a compound radius fretboard, or maybe a blender knob for mixing the bridge and neck pickups.

I'm sure it's something of a challenge for Fender to please EVERYONE with one model, preserving the heritage of the early models while still incorporating some modern features.

More colors and -$100 on the price, other than the pups and finish I can't tell that much of a difference between it and they HWY1, so I don't see anything that is worthy of a $100 markup. The pups sound fine, but I also like the stock HWy 1 pups

edit: I misread the guitar name, i thought it said american special. my bad. i wouldnt do anything to improve it, because I would love to have one!

If it came with the Texas Specials pickups and a S-1 switch, I'd save a few more bucks and get it instead of the one I am currently saving for.
