No, I'm not referring to the recently-discontinued Custom Shop offering.

I mean a straight re-issue like the current production '65 Fender blackfaces -- with a printed-circuit board, birch-ply cabinet, and conventional non-modded chassis. I could never see paying $2500 for the Custom Shop version but a "standard" re-issue could have a price point somewhere between the DRRI and the SRRI......and that's something I could afford.

What say ye?

Great idea. I do have the recently discontinued '64 Custom Vibroverb, and it's a fantastic amp, my favourite ever. I don't regret the extra bucks for a second, but if there was a more affordable reissue like the Super Rev RI with a printed board I'd probably by one as a stereo partner and backup!
