Well mates,
I just had to drop a line on the progress of the album. As some of you know I have been juggling between work, graduate school and recording. School is done until August! Work is going well and today I was finally able to get into the studio and really do some quality recording. I had recently written a new song called Politician. Well, I got the drums recorded and the bass and rhythm guitar. The crazy thing about it is it was all done on the first take! Maybe this time away from recording has helped me out! Just had to share that with you guys!

Best of luck with everything Airborne! I love hearing stories about people recording and following their dreams. I'm a pretty positive "you can do anything" type but having only 2 years of playing under my belt at age 34 I can't see myself aspiring to anything of that magnitude. Best wishes!

Can't wait to hear a sample of the finished work. Many of you guys are very good! I don't pretend to be anything but a hack hobbyist.

Maybe I should have named myself VT HackStrat! 8)

 , have you muddled around with the settings? Mine used to only do 10 seconds, but I somehow figured out how to make it record for longer.

 lyric attacks....I get them when i'm out in the dirt roads.

Hey Bill,
No I went straight into the board with the line out from my SCXD. I was on the voice 2 channel 2 nice Bassman voicing with nice breakup. The new Boss board arrives on Wednesday. I will post pics then. Hopefully I will have the song done in the next few days.
