Caught my first Wilco show on Friday night at the Wellmont Theater in NJ. Really fantastic stuff. Really nice crowd too. It was pretty cool when the whole crowd sang "Jesus etc" off of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.

A friend of mine turned me on to them and I was really glad I went. This is a killer band, check out their website to sample their songs.

I don't know why I haven't bought any of their CDs because I've loved everything that I've heard from them so far.I guess it's time to get started.

Long time fan of Wilco. Saw them on the A Ghost is Born Tour; they are amazing live, very tight. Glad you got to see them. Would recommend all discs. I tend to like the sonic experimental side of the band so my favs are A Ghost is Born and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Nels Cline is an amazing guitarist, though Tweedy is no slouch, and after listening to Ghost you wouldn't know Nels did not record on it, he joined to tour with following its release. If you enjoy Yankee and Ghost, you may also like the band Califone. They opening for Wilco during the west coast tour this year.

I really like Wilco... caught them a couple of years back when they were last in Sydney, going again in about a month's time. Last show mrs mondo was heavily pregnant, so she wasn't enjoying the genre-bending, convention-defying three hours quite as much as I. Hope she wasn't turned off, as I bought her a ticket about six months ago... heh.

coincidence just watched them play a song on Austin City Limits, yes they are a good band very popular here in Chicago.

Great band, always evolving with each release. I still listen to Being There a lot That and sky blue sky. 8)
