I love those 60s Fender colors, especially Surf and Seafoam greens. Check out this site Curtis Novak.

Keep the MIA stock. AND either buy a sea-foam green Strat or build one.

I agree with Tochai. Have two and neither one will be compromised.

There's no way I'd change a black Strat with a maple board,a classic Hendrix colour scheme. You're only 23 and you have years to buy a surf green anyway a man can't have too many Strats. If you don't believe me ask Alain LaFrance or Xhephri.

as of right now, the results are 60/40. i like the idea of having two, actually. i ALMOST bought the limited edition strat last summer w/ the matching headstock, but i dont like rosewood necks..

i dont wanna build one cuz i wanna keep it mostly fender... maybe buy used fender parts on ebay??? too many options. i decided to have two, prolly get a USA strat with a replacement body somewhere.

i love this forum!!!!

Saturday the 3rd, there was a farking over the top holy cow wowee mutha-beautiful you ain't gonna believe it this thing's so bleeping gorgeous sell the house sell the car sell the kids ...

...Surf Green American Standard with matching headstock and rosewood board for $999 at Sam Ash in Lombard, IL, USA.

'Bought a surf green MIM 50s Strat in '02. Striking, outstanding playing and sounding, excellent guitar. The one which is in this opinion, really, really remeinscent of a "Real" circa '65 Stratocaser.

Best of fortune.
