Guy on craigslist had an original 1965 Princeton amp for $550. He was going to sell it to me, but then changed his mind and is now going to sell it to someone who is closer to him, it would of taken me an hour and half to get to him, and the other guy is like 20 minutes away. Bummer.

Here's the ad, might be gone soon though.

He says he has a 68 princeton he'll sell me for $600, but he has to get it out of storage when he gets back in town in a couple of weeks.

i know the feeling and I hate when that happens! it happened to me with a great deal on a HWY 1 Strat the other day and today just a few hours ago with a hollowbody Dearmond I was about to get a steal on. Someone else literally did buy it now maybe 30 seconds before me!

Jason, you have my deepest sympathy,I've lost out on many bargains like that over the years and it's a pretty 5hitty feeling.

it was about a month ago, i was really trying HARD to sell my USA strat and get a USA tele. tried craigslist a few times but this time i really hit it hard. posted in 3 cities, included pics etc. few ppl actually offer, but i decline and then one day, i realized......

...ya know, i kinda like this guitar.

so instead of missing out on what i wanted, i just started appreciating what i had. now im happy. goodbye GAS.
