here's one; what do blind people see? what i mean is, even though they see nothing, is it black or white? is it some true, absolute nothingness that isnt even just a plain blackness that those of us who can see simply can't grasp? i'm very interested in this for some strange reason.....

There is an old movie based on this called Johnny Got His Gun in which a soldier not only loses his senses but his arms and legs. In fact clips of this movie were used in an early Metalica video, I believe -One.

I remember that well, the imortal line of
'Dad whats democracy'. 'Well son democracy has a lot to do with young men killing each other'. (aint that the truth)
And
'I cant tell whether I'm alive and dreaming or dead and remembering. How can you tell whats a dream and whats real when you cant even tell when your asleep or awake'.
It made for quite a harrowing video.

Note Hammet's 3sc ESP strat. Who says you cant play metal on a strat. He used it on Garagedays revisited too.

One Video

From the last album they did that was any good.

Well, if Frankie Valli walks like a man and talks like a man, why does he sing like a girl?

How hungry did that first brave soul have to be to see an oyster and think, "Boy! Doesn't THAT look tasty!"?

When they built the first clock, how did they know what time to set it to?

Why do they call what a doctor does 'practice'?

Why do they put a sign at the Post Office that says, "No Pets Except For Seeing Eye Dogs"? Who's supposed to read that?

Why are there braille keys on ATMs? How's a blind guy going to know how much cash is in his hand? (I won't even ask why there are braille keys on drive through ATMs.)

I'll stop now.

Clocks: Mankind had been mesuring time long before the invention of the clock.

Doctors: You don't want to know

Seeing Eye Dogs: For people who don't get it, Leave your dog in the car.

ATMs: There are braille letters on bills and the edges of the coins also works as braille (at least on Icelandic currency), and in Iceland diffrent bills have diffrent sizes.

If memory serves, horses were native to America and were locally extinct long before Europeans came in the 15th century and brought the current ancestors of the mustang herds.

Did the Stone Age locals (all native Americans were still Stone Age) eat them rather than think of riding them?

Think that was because they cooked and ate em in utensils which rotted from the acid, same as a lot of stuff like lemons.

Ok...this is something I have to admit has always scared the begabbers out of me. Why do they have braille on drive through ATM's???
