I know! At what point did he turn to his mate and say: 'See that big beast over there that we eat the flesh of and wear the skin of? I bet it's breast milk is out of this world.'

Did he use a cup or suckle the nipple?

Also eggs. At what point did someone decide to crack open a chickens period and fry it up?

Seriously.

I have a similar thought. What crazy imbecile looked at a horse and thought, I'm gonna get on the back of that thing and make it take me places. I bet he woke up sore the next day.

I wonder if a blind man would even buy the Gibbo Dusk Tiger?

CC edit your post mate.

I never had a fun trip ever. Not once. They were always paranoid, crawling, horrible affairs. Aldous Huxely would have wrote more like Edgar Allan Poe had he shared my perceptions of those times. The last time took me 18months to come down, that was scary.
Still I had to do something when the rave scene took hold in 90.

I like the look of the dusk tiger, just not the pickguard on it. I'd want that gone, but the body wood looks nice.

Everything about the Dusk Tiger screams 'blind'.

I bet thats what blind people see in their nightmares.

Here's something to ponder: If you lost all five senses completely, would anything in the world exist? Would the world cease to exist entirely?

Well, I think this falls under the age old question of "is all we experience "real" or just an illusion" and the most appropriate answer simply comes down to "I think there for I am". As such, even if I were to loose all five senses, if I were still able to think then I would -know- that I still existed (albeit in a rather depressing state I'm sure) and as such, logic would dictate that everything I experienced around me would still be there as well even if I could no longer experience it.

Another way to look at this is simply, when a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, -yes- it still does make a sound (unless of course said forest existed inside a sealed vacuum or something)...In fact I'm willing to bet the birds or other local critters heard it. And I'm also fairly sure the light in my fridge goes out when I close the door...if for no other reason than because if it were on -all- the time, we'd go through -a lot- more light bulbs. Ya just have to apply a little logic sometimes.

The real question here is not whether the world would cease to exist or not, the real question is what would the point be in living like that? This is the moral quandary that folks often have to consider when making a "living will" (as I've recently had to go through a couple of times with family members). For me that answer is simple...if there were no way for me to communicate with or experience the "outside world", there really would be no further point in living any more unless someone was sure there was a cure somewhere for whatever caused this "condition" in the first place. If there was a fair hope of a cure to ease the suffering of my loved ones, then yea but otherwise, that's not really living.

Just my $.02,
Jim

speaking of the young ones..... there was a kid in my class last year (now expelled not surprisingly) who would come in blazed out of his mind each day, always raving about his new record for biggest hes ever smoked.... this same kid liked to "fly" and "levitate my backpack" around for me... heres how that worked; "flying" him spreading his arms and running around, occasionally jump on a chair (and usually falling off); "backpack levitation".... i pick up my backpack and start to hear "OH YEAH LOOK AT THAT SKILL IM DOIN IT MAN!!!" or something to that effect..... it really was hilarious

not encouraging drug use btw

Well I lost my sense of smell 10 years ago in a work related injury. Best part about it is, I can fart in a crowded room and get away with it!

I'm sorry to hear about your condition, jeffo. I have a greatly reduced sense of smell myself following nasal surgery several years ago.

This, however, reminds me of a joke. 8)

A man goes to the doctor and says, "Doc, I've got the weirdest problem. I fart constantly, but they don't make any sound and they don't have any smell."

The doctor gives him some pills and tells him to come back a week later.

A week later, the man comes back and says, "Doc, I don't know what was in those pills you gave me. I'm still farting all the time, and they still don't make a sound. But now they smell terrible!"

The doctor says, "Okay, we've fixed your sinuses. Now let's do something about your ears."

Is this what this forum has come to? We've officially degraded to fart jokes. :)

Ceri that was a good one.LMFAO

This question boils down to if you were born that way or if it happened at a certain age in which case your mind would have things to relive. There is an old movie based on this Called Johnny Got His Gun in which a soldier not only loses his senses but his arms and legs. In fact I clips of this movie were used in an early Metalica video, I believe -One.
