The world would still exist but, you would not know it.

On the smoke tonight?

I always wondered what blind people who have been blind since birth see in their dreams.

Try to imagine a world without hypothetical situations. No?

Well, if Frankie Valli walks like a man and talks like a man, why does he sing like a girl?

How hungry did that first brave soul have to be to see an oyster and think, "Boy! Doesn't THAT look tasty!"?

When they built the first clock, how did they know what time to set it to?

Why do they call what a doctor does 'practice'?

Why do they put a sign at the Post Office that says, "No Pets Except For Seeing Eye Dogs"? Who's supposed to read that?

Why are there braille keys on ATMs? How's a blind guy going to know how much cash is in his hand? (I won't even ask why there are braille keys on drive through ATMs.)

I'll stop now.

Of course, everybody else in that crowded room can fart and get away with it. That's what's probably going on: they're all farting like steam trains and keeping it a secret from you...

I'm sorry to hear about your condition, jeffo. I have a greatly reduced sense of smell myself following nasal surgery several years ago.

This, however, reminds me of a joke. 8)

A man goes to the doctor and says, "Doc, I've got the weirdest problem. I fart constantly, but they don't make any sound and they don't have any smell."

The doctor gives him some pills and tells him to come back a week later.

A week later, the man comes back and says, "Doc, I don't know what was in those pills you gave me. I'm still farting all the time, and they still don't make a sound. But now they smell terrible!"

The doctor says, "Okay, we've fixed your sinuses. Now let's do something about your ears."

I tripped a few times with a guy that was born blind. I asked him once when straight what a trip was like for him. He told me, "I hear some really weird stuff".

Thats amazing to think, I always had an inkling that while dreaming or out of it it would have to be aural.

Didn't it affect the conversation at all? Did he say what kind of things?

I'm fascinated by this kind of stuff. I might just stick on Stevie's Innervisions and get wrecked now!

Thanks CC :) This week was our spring break, and I have had the house to myself leaving me to ponder how things are going lately...

To answer the topic I have no clue what I would do if I would loose all of my senses... Great insight thoug

I'm starting to loose my hearing though. Praiseband is getting a little too loud.

Agreed. I've had a really crappy day, but in the end, all that matters iswho you are and how you live your life.

Very true.
