I have a small collection of Fender catalogs. I'm wondering if anyone else collect these. Any catalogs out there for purchase/trade/barter?

Howdy sjohnston335-1,

I'm curious, what years do you have?

I have Fender catalogs from: 1972, 1976, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

I also have some Gibson, Shure, Altec, JBL, and Gauss catalogs and product literature.

Do have any? Do you collect them?

No, I'm not a collector, just thought it was a cool idea.

Have fun!

I know that this is an old thread. I'm trying to find out if the 2007 catalog has the limited edition black fender 57 amp in it. The one that they only made 300 of.

Thanks.

... and I want to get my hands on the 2002 & 2005 catalogues. I have a 2002 British price list, which is cool, would like those two so I can perve on my guitars that I own. :P

I've got a few -- 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 & 2009. I also have a few of the Frontline Extras and a Fender Lead pamphlet (the guitars not the amp) from the late '70s or early '80s. Haven't seen any the last couple of years.

I am trying to find a 2005 catalog. I am just curious what the American Stratocaster HSS 0117000 has for stock pickups for that year since I am considering buying this guitar shortly.

Hi MathiasXX

from the Fender Frontline 2005 page 59

Stratocaster HSS 011-700x "...one Diamondback humbucker and 2 custom staggered Tex Mex single coils"

hope this helps

I'm not a collector of them, but I do have quite a few dating back
to about 1960-something to more recent Frontlines and old CS
calendars....love the guitar porn!

it would be really awesome if there was a PDF collection of them all. it would be great collector reference material :) I would gladly pay for that.

Cross your fingers, maybe someone from fender will run across this and run with it

maybe we will get lucky and the next catalog will come with a disk inside with all the previous catalogs on it

If someone knows a marketing, business, graphic design, or computer undergrad major, this could be a great project in .pdf format.

I doubt Fender would do it, since it wouldn't be a significant money maker for them.
