I'm watching this morning's Pre-Season Baseball Game between the Yankees and the Twins.

The Twin Denard Span buys 20 seats for his family. During his first at bat he hits a foul ball. The ball shoots off into that group of 20 seats. He rushes over to see the Stadium Staff taking his Mother off to be examined after she was hit with the foul ball!!!

Mom was OK and refused any further treatment.

Who is your team Feathers? I grew up a Giants fan in San Jose.

I had quit watching Baseball shortly after Bonds broke the record. I got tired of listening to all that steroid talk.
I'm starting to watch it again this season. I like the Giants, White Sox (Dye is from my town), Yankees Pettite is cool), and Cardinals (I like seeing Mark back in the game).

I grew up being a fan of the Pirates, Dodgers, A's, and Giants.

A buddy of mine is a big Pirates fan. He actually works for the Mariners now and I went up a couple of years ago to see them play the Giants. That was Bonds last year.

I moved out to AZ just before 1994 so haven't seen a Giants game at the new stadium, but did check it out once when I was back visiting, but it was in the off season.

I used to go to the games all the time when they had Matt Williams, Will Clark, Robby Thompson, Jose Uribe. Like from 1986 until I moved out here.

Chet, it's Twilight Zone-ish. As for me, I've been a lifelong Yankees fan; I grew up in Washington Heights across the River (Harlem River) from the Stadium...always loved them through thick and thin.

Yankees, always have been from my Grandmother being a New Yorker and having really got into baseball when I lived there.

I can usually be seen playing live in a Yankees uniform top!

The Royals and Rangers Spring Training stadium is right down the street from my house. Took my son a couple of seasons ago to watch the Royals play the Giants. Hideo Nomo pitched for the Royals that game.

 Always the way with personalised Jersey's! I've been running around with Derek Jeter's 2 shirt for a while now.

I may get a right retired number next, prob Ruth 3 seeing as we have the same birthday. I'm weird that way!

Baseball has always been my passion so far as sports were concerned. I played varsity in all 3 sports in high school but baseball from day 1 was my favorite and it took me to college on a scholarship. Every off season seems to be longer than the last and this one was no different.

I never had a favorite MLB team since I lived in a state without a team but after a recent trip to San Diego I have decided to become a Padres fan. Tony Gwynn is my all time favorite layer so I figure I would support his old team and since they are pretty terrible I will have to be dedicated considering they will not be in line to win anything, but I always choose the working class teams or lesser to pull for.

That being said bring on opening day!
