If you liked F.C.,S.S. or Gryphon you'll surely like these guys from Texas that I've just found out about-Midlake,they have a real late 60s early 70s British medieval folk style group sound.Their songs sound almost like madrigals or Elizabethan court songs the acoustic guitar work even when combined with electric has a Baroque sound to it.The lead singers voice is well suited for it.The CD is called The Courage of Others.

Hi SBLS this is the only info I have on them,I bought the CD at HMV after a friend recommended them. They record is on the Bella Union label www.bellaunion.com and their website is www.midlake.net The CD is distributed by Redeye Distribution at www.redeyeusa.com I imagine you could get the CD at any large record store or online at a place like CD Universe.I hope this info helps They're certainly worth looking into.
