How about: "The Band" or "Big Brother and the Holding Company"

Certainly not famous, but the band I used to play in was: "Rear View Mirror". We had a logo of the Rearview Mirror of a car with our picture inside and we played 60's/70's Rock & Roll.

There used to be a great blues band out of West Texas called Delbert Snook and the Boogie Men. I always thought that was a cool name. 8)

The The

Always liked the sound of it. Really liked the Soul Mining album title (and content!) too.

Kinky Friedman & The Texas Jewboys.

Probably their best known song has an original title too: They Don't Make Jews Like Jesus Anymore.

They're not my cup of tea in the slightest - but a good ear for names/titles. I tried reading one of Kinky Friedman's novel once. It was rubbish...

Cheers - C

I always liked the names "Creedence Clearwater Revival", "Black Sabbath", and "Led Zeppelin" back in the day.

Now I like "Audioslave".
