I recently bought a Vox AC 30 Amplug so I could practice relatively silently while watching TV with the Mrs. in the evenings. It's a great little rig and does a fair representation of an AC 30,I even plugged into the aux. input of a boombox with surprising results.Has anyone else used this one or the lead model with built in chorus? I was thinking of getting the lead model also for a bit of variation but would like to hear from someone who has used one.

If you have any effects you like to use, you can plug in the Amplug at the end of your signal chain. That way you'd have some control over the sound!

I've done that, the other day I had a Marshall Guv'nor,Vox Clyde McCoy, Danelectro Tremolo and Vibe hooked up,sounded phenominal but I wanted something that was less bulky and gave me a lush sound.

I have the same one that you have. I like it for practicing and not having to do all the hookups that I normally do. Like for a quick practice.

I have the AC-30, the Metal and the Acoustic. I love all of them, so I guess the Lead will pretty awesome too.
