Indie - though it is a very broad range of music and isn't technically a genre, i think it has the most creative and inovative bands. They get to create new more interesting music before the Majors get a hold of them and form them into every other band.

Don't get me wrong, there are good bands on majors that I can enjoy, just not as many as on indie labels.

I don't really have a favorite genre of music. I have moods instead. Sure it's fun to rock out, but sometimes I want the blues or some swing or jazz. Depending on my mood.
