Riley, get a 1/8" adapter (RadioShack - $5) and run your cable from your headphone out to your computer into Windows Sound Recorder.

If it sounds okay with that...download Audacity (free) and you'll be recording before you know it!

Thanks, but I think I might be getting a $20 recording device, that transfers your songs to your computer, which is good cause I'm dieing for a recording device!

Check it out first. Some of the cheap ones will give you 'latency' (google it) and if you don't have a headphone out from the device it will throw your timing off...big time! :wink:

My band (the Screamin' Armadillos) uses a Korg 16-track console that does really well for a medium/rough mix; it has great fidelity for the tracks themselves and a lot of editing features. Then the drummer/producer exports everything to some editing software for mastering
