Fri. nights gig was great. Our bass player realized what we were telling him, when he finally took the time to listen to a couple of cds that I burnt of previous gigs. Band sounds much better as a team. He retracted earlier critizism of my lead guitar work ( which I'm never satisfied with ), I appreciate the compliments, but really do need more work. Less is more, I'm trying to concentrate on tone and tasty licks, using distortion and wha, when called for. Anyway, the band sounded a little tighter, and no stepping on other mates, solos. I'm glad I record gigs, as it helps us hear and realize, what we need to work on. We have 6 more gigs lined up. I'm stoked, with the thought of getting better, feels good to be able to move on. Thank-you for listening to my earlier vents, knots in stomach and back are disapppearing. :D

Dutchy, "Fri. nights gig was great", you are a diplomat, what a wonderful attribute to possess.

thanks my friends. hopefully, I'll record/capture a gig that I'm comfortable with, for posting. I might be a little, too critical. I always find little flaws, in our live recordings. It was great seeing everyone on the dance floor, rockin' out, Fri. night. Volume on vocals were just right, I need to polish up my lead work, a little rough/stiff, on a few songs. my fingers moved a little better 30 years ago.
