I got a Gretsch Electromatic G5120!! It's so cool! It plays awesome too! The only thing I don't like is the pickguard so I took it off and I'll find a new one. I love the bigsby too!!

here are some pics of it and its family (sort of...I'll tell you in a minute)

the only reason the Kingman is not in there is because the Kingman got dropped and is damaged. I don't know how much eaither. By the way I didn't drop it, my grandpa did
:(

I've had an Electromatic as my main "office guitar" for the past couple years and have to confess that I LOVE the thing. You really need to send in a pic of yourself playin' that guit to the "Show Us Your Gretsch" feature over on our Gretsch site! Here's my own submission:

My Electromatic

The acoustic looks like a Fender DG5 to me......I've got an older version of one of those.

Howdy Kingman 44,

Glad to see you got that beauty! How does she play? How do those pups sound?

And don't worry about the Christmas decorations, we aren't all castrated by political correctness...

actually it's a DG-8S I don't know the difference, I took it off my signature thing because It got too long.

She sounds really nice, It doesn't have filotrons and so I can get some nice neck pickup sound as well as some nice twang. She plays like a dream too.

The only problem is that I'm getting used to the controls, but other than that its perfect.

Congrats on the Gretsch. They're great guitars.

BTW, if anyone is offended by your decorations they can just get over it.

This is my `63 Gretsch Anniversary Model that was bought new at the time. Beautiful tone and sounds great on my Fender Princeton amp from the same year.
