Hi all.
Don't know if anyone can help me but here goes...

When I was a kid (about 30 years ago) I was getting some (acoustic) guitar lessons and I remember my teacher letting me have a go on his electric one day. I'm trying to figure out what it was. I'm absolutely sure it was a Gibson but I'm also absolutely sure it had a Strat style body! The name Gibson Marauder seems to be stuck in my mind but all those I've found have a single cutaway LP shaped body.

Any ideas anyone? Did Gibson ever make a strat shaped guitar? I didn't want to have to resort to going over to the Gibson forums just yet so thought I'd ask here first.

Yeah I don't know about those. My memory is pretty faded. It was around 1981/82, the guitar had a dark brown sunburst finish. Maybe it WAS a Strat and I'm just all confused. Thanks for the ideas though guys!
