I need help. i'm looking for feedback from my guitar. Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66mmAeH8Aj4

And the type out of radio friendly unit shifter.... I've gotta fender frontman 15g, which is just a practice amp, but if you watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y790yEJ_Wcs in the intro his just, well strumming the bottom strings on a random note and it gives feedback-ish sounds. How the heck do you do that?

A bucket full of distortion and lots of volume in the first vid.
In the 2nd vid its a bucket full of distortion and the A string harmonic at the 4th fret.

Look for any Diamond Darrell lessons on harmonics and squeals, he was the master.

Ha ha, I have my distortion up full bull. Didn't know you could get harmonics on the 4th fret, I thought it was 5th 7th 12th.

No theres loads of harmonics all up the strings. 2 1/4, 2 3/4, 3 1/8, 4, 5, 7, 9

You need a shedload of distortion to pull the lower fret ones off. If you lightly place your finger on the low E string (dont press down be very light) and strum whilst moving that finger up and down the string you can hear all kinds of harmonics going on.
heres a vid of
The master's harmonic video lesson

Another cool trick you might dig Riley, is to cycle a pull off lick like 5th fret G string to 3rd fret G string and then open G string. Keep it going and with your picking hand use the side as if you were going to give someone a karate chop and very lightly run it up all 6 strings from the bridge to past the neck pup. I think you will love the effect.

Another way to get feedback is to touch the headstock of your guitar off the amp with everything on bust and you'll get almost instant feedback if you mute all the strings except the low E and just crank the whammy bar or just detune the E string tuning key. With a bit of reverb this can sound like a bomber squadron.

Another one, is to lay your little finger of your left hand lightly over the strings over the neck pup and hit through the strings, creating harmonics and then crank your whammy. You get a nice high screaming sound almost like wind, dipping and pulling your whammy fast or slow creates wild sounds.
