Ok...if we are only playing Fenders...I fold. What are the rules?

I love your collection of Fender's best guitar design. Hands down, the strat plus/ultra line was the best and still is.

John.bohn- What's the story on the green, or is it blue, Strat on the right?
That thing is great.

I gotta have me one.

It's a Surf Green MIM Classic Series 50's Strat. The Ensenada plant really nailed the finish on that guitar and it plays well enough to be a keeper. I swapped out the original pickups for SCNs and it should be a member of the herd for a long time. :)

Well, I had a couple more to go....

I think this is Candy Apple Red, that's what it looks closest to on the fender color chart, but other people's CAR guitars usually look a little darker, so I'm not sure, could just be the pics though

And here's a Lipstick red one. I don't have this one anymore though.

The color difference doesn't really come across in these photos. They look almost the same.

I'm still trying to determine what color mine is for sure..the previous owner was told that it was LPB; it doesn't look like LPB except for older ones that have turned color...whatever it is, I like it.

Here's my old 1987 62 re-issue (V025...). I got it brand new - it was finished in Vintage white. As it aged and got dinged, patches of Surf green started to show through. After it was damaged quite badly by a candle (nitro cellulose burns really well!!!!!!) I refinished the charred body purple paisley...
