A notice from the I.R.S. that says they don't believe I have dependents and they are changing my witholding allowances. They want me to prove I have kids. What a bunch of morons. I should send them the hospital bill I just received for my youngest son. And every other document I have on my kids including tax returns with their names and SSN's, school records, shot records, birth certificates, divorce/custody orders etc... He'll I'll even throw in school pics. This is by far the dumbest thing I have ever had them ask for.

I know the feeling. IRS got me this year too. I did not have to prove anything, but the $800 I had been saving for a new guitar went to them today.

Once I opened my mailbox and found a colony of ants, which caught me by surprise and freaked me out a bit. Heh.

Just send them the kids ... I think there was a made-for-TV movie of the week with a premise like that once. :D

I didn't really get anything today, but the other day I got my package from Amazon.com with a new CD (20/20 by Trip Lee) and the "Guitar Recorded Versions" tab book for Stevie Ray Vaughan's album, "Texas Flood"!

Best of all they were completely free! I bought them with Amazon gift cards I got off of SwagBucks (for more info about this crazy cool site, click the link or picture in my signature below).

:D

In my mail -- 400 pounds of junk mail. I've converted all my bills to electronic format. But despite being on every "not interested, take me off your mail list" list going, I still get enough junk to wall paper a mansion every week. If they do away with Saturday mail as now proposed, it will save me one trip to the recycle bin with shovels full of ads each week.

I did get the Sweetwater catalog a couple of days ago ... bedtime reading!

Musicians' Porn I call it with my girlfriend, who now thinks I have enough guitars and one day suggested I might be better off by switching to real porn. Nahhhhh ... there's nothing like getting your sweaty hands on a brand new Telecaster I say!
