It takes one billion Nano's to make a second.

Too many times! Can be a nightmare most of the time. I can't recall having ever drove in Staten Island though. Just the other 4 as far as I remember.

Hectic is an understatement!

It's where it originated.

New York second.

The measure of time between traffic lights on Manhattan turning green and the first horn beep.

I know this is completley off topic, but where the hell did you get your signature? What with it?? I showed one of my friends, and he cracked up laughing.

It takes one billion Nano's to make a second.

Then theres a pico-second which is 1000 times shorter than a nano-second, a femto-second which is 1000 times shorter than a pico-second, an atto-second which is 1000 times shorters than a femto-second, a zepto-second which is 1000 times shorter than an atto-second and a yocto second which is 1000 times shorter than a zepto-second.
There are septillion (10 to the minus 24th power) Zepto-seconds in one second.

I can tell you that driving a tractor-trailer through the Holland Tunnel is not fun.

Kong, i can barely even imagine what an absolute beast that must be. was it full on rush hour? Heck, come to think of it, it's kinda rush hour all day in the apple! Did it seem to you, driving in new york, like everybody had a "C" clamp on their steering wheel to keep the horn going steady?! I never heard so much honking, and yelling, and cussing, by so many P.Oe'd people in my life!

Love that sign. Complete with graffitti. Just to let you know not to leave any
valuables in your car.

The only time I was ever in NY (1989) I travelled by subway or yellow cab. In the cab it would have been impossible to guess the time lag because it seemed like there was always a horn beeping somewhere.
