Post subject: Shorter than a nano second

There is a fraction of a second that's so small that it's smaller than a nano second and can't be measured-that is the length of time between when the light turns green and the guy behind you blows his horn.

Yep its called the NewYork second. The smallest measurement of time in the solar system.
(Taken from one of Terry Pratchets books,I cant remember which one.)

Hi, i don't mean to hijack this thread, but since manhattan traffic noise, horns in particular were mentioned, i'd like to ask how many of you here have ever experienced driving around in manhattan and the other boroughs of the big apple? :wink:
