Does anyone know if you can go on a tour at the factory in Corona? I live in VEgas and Go out to Cali every so often and want to tour the factory. Any ideas? I looked all over the fender site but can't find any info.
thanks

I don't know I've wondered about that too. I live about 15 minutes from Corona but I'm not sure where exactly the factory is. I know there is a museum and theater too. I've never been there but they have a website.

I would love to go. I have taken the Martin Tour three times and it never gets old.

I went out there about 2 years ago and all that was available at that time was a visit to the museum. There really was not a whole lot there considering Fender's heritage, but it was ok if you are a fan. They really need to do something to make it a bigger event having been there. Giong to the GC in Hollywood might actually be a better display of Fender history just with what they have for sale in the Vintage Room.
I never did get a good explaination as to why a factory tour was not available.

Considering the sheer number of Fender fans just in the SoCal area, it would be a nightmare to run tours. Consider the insurance for that too. There's always a liability....like some overanxious young stoner/axeslinger who's gonna do something stupid for sure during the tour.

I could see why they'd be leary about letting in the millions who'd like to take the tour.
