We ate at a nice Cajun restaurant tonight, where I had escargots and an incredible fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp and scallops. It was so good I almost fell asleep while I was eating it.

Sounds good.

Last night I memorized all of the modes on the guitar, so I'm now moving onto all of the exotic scales. Should be fun.

Please I dont have a clue what modes and scales are, or why there used or why they're what they are? Please someone tell me!!

Modes are alternations of scales that are used when the notes of the natural scale clash with the chords that are being played over. Its easier to research them then for me to explain them here.

Alight, what should I do?

I found a different route to work on the pushbike - not so much traffic and it feels much safer (wider streets, more bike lanes etc.). I got to work in a much better mood - small things make a difference at the start of a day :)

Most days I'm on an Avanti road bike (and the weather this morning was beautiful). On really wet days I ride a hybrid and spend more time on the footpaths since there's almost no pedestrians where I go.

Driving a car to work here is a sad experience since most of the roads look like car parks in peak hour. Riding the bike usually makes me feel pretty good about the day. :)

My parents feed and care for all the local and migratory birds that frequent rural southeastern Wisconsin, providing bird baths, birdhouses, suet, you name it. Today as usual this time of year, their entire yard surrounding their house, has become an open aviary. It is so awesome to sit out there watching jenny wrens, sparrows, cardinals, bluebirds, grossbeaks, robins, mourning doves, blue jays baltimore orioles, blackbirds, starlings, several varieties of woodpeckers, humming birds, well, you name it! God's creation can blow your mind sometimes!

You're welcome. I'd also recommend getting that book at some point. It's much easier to understand.

Only two more days of school left, that's positive.

It's also positive that I'm going to make the biggest collection of qoutes ever on the Fender Forum!
