MasterOfReality posted this question on Amazon.com so all credit for this post idea goes to that person...I just thought it would it'd be a great topic for here...

Mine would be:

1) Rory Gallagher: Shadow Play
2) Rory Gallagher: Fuel to the Fire
3) Bob Dylan: Like a Rolling Stone
4) Counting Crows: Daylight Fading
5) Foo Fighters: Everlong

This will probably change in the next hour but here is my initial idea...

I look forward to hearing yours! 8)

I just grabbed 5 tracks from a mix I keep updating for when I'm driving. Tough call though - I'd obviously choose different tracks for other activities (meal time, study, exercise, etc.):

Layla - Derek and the Dominos
Jumpin' Jack Flash - Rolling Stones
Bad Moon Rising - CCR
Ego is Not a Dirty Word - Skyhooks
Gonna Fly Now - Bill Conti

Lucille - Little Richard
Whole Lotta Shakin' - Jerry Lee Lewis
Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry
Jailhouse Rock - Elvis Presley
Peggy Sue - Buddy Holly and the Crickets

Glad to see Elvis making some lists.

Jemima Surrender-The Band
Things We Said Today-Beatles
I looked Away-Derek and The Dominos
Won't You Take a Chance With Me-Roxy Music
High-Eric Clapton

My blues list would be mostly obscure people.
I really hate it when the classic rock station does a segement called
"Blues at 5", or "Levis 501 Blues at 6" or some such thing, and they
play "Pride and Joy" or "The Thrill is Gone" or some other over exposed thing. Give somebody else a chance, goddammit.

2.They Don't Make 'em Like You Anymore-Rory Gallagher

The first five I would play would probably be:
1. Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
2. Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash
3. Highway to Hell - AC/DC
4. Crosstown Traffic - Jimi Hendrix Experience
5. Supernaut - Black Sabbath

I feel like every radio station should be christened with "Johnny B. Goode"
