It seems that if you have a small amp with a heaphone output, you can download ASIO4ALL and plug right into your soundcard with a 1/8" adapter.

That's what one kid is claiming he's using right now?

My frontman 15g has a headphone output.

:x , I'm getting really frusterated, it'll be cool to hear you guys play 8)

+1

Too bad my free trial ran out. I just can't afford to keep paying for it.

lite ash - did you have some good jams during your trial and what did you use for an interface?

I'm enjoying the trial, but finding that many just want to 'show off' rather than jam.

People who show off drive me insane man. I've gotta kinda friend, who also plays guitar, and he's not even that passionate about it, and we're just havin' a little jam, his friends walk in the room, he says, "Oh check this riff out boys" and I can see in his face that he's playing at 110%, after he's done he goes, "Ohh aren't I the best or what?"

It really pisses me off.

Seems like many of today's "sessions" are teaching sessions. I *think* that some of these guys are teachers offline as well.

I did a quick 30 minutes with a bass player, drum machine and another guitarist. We just vamped on 2 chords ( G and C) and kept coming up with new ideas. I wish there was a better way to record these jams.

Just received this message from eJamming :

"We hope you're enjoying your Free Trial of eJamming. We just wanted to let you know you have 20 days left before you will need to subscribe to keep connecting to other musicians over eJamming.

We hope to continue seeing you on eJamming!

The eJamming Team."

If anyone else here is doing this and wants to jam...I'm on for about another hour or so.

I'll be on the road tomorrow and away/offline for the next few days, but you'll find that the admin guys really try and get you up and running quick.

Spent a couple hours trying to make ejam work with my new mustang 2 amp I got today. Got it to work once actually heard someone play the drums a couple times. It looks like you can use the headphones for your amp or the sound out from the computer. Pretty complicated and not any instant start to it , I have great gear under 30mil sec delay but theres much more to it then plug and play. portforwarding is complicated also. Think the best way to do it is probably with a cheap mixing board and interface instead of just using the amp usb connect. Bunch of info on the site to help and people seem to be very helpful. All in all Ejam looks to be pretty great, for 10 bucks a month fee there isnt much downside if you have a good internet connect.

Fender Mustang 2 handles eJamming very well seems to have a great sound for the other people you play with , I can get immaculate cleans and nasty distortion with a footswitch. If it only had playback capabilities it would be perfect. you cant just run headphones into amp and hear everything thats only downside to the amp interface.
