You need something like this : (a USB audio interface)

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/US100/

It converts your analog signal to a digital signal.

If you don't use an interface, you won't be heard in the eJams.

Go into a room and check it out....lots of online help too.

That made me stream beer all over the kitchen.

I'll have to have a look at this, it sounds exactly like what I've been waiting for.
Do you need a Gdec or can i just zoomH2 into the pc.

The digitechs got a USB interface on it, but the damn things so hard to work. I've owned it 8 months and only just worked out how to get it to operate as a pedal emulator without the amp emulation on. Last time I tried recording to PC with that, I couldnt get any sound at all or it was so slow, the song was over before the guitar came in.

It's easy -- just need to plug your guitar into your computer with an audio interface (or G-Dec-3 when it's available), fire up Fender Band Jam on eJamming AUDiiO and create or join a session.

There are eJASUPPORT team members in the lobby to help if you need it.

This eJamming.com site has been around but seems to be gaining
in people participating. Last week I was in on two different days and saw 6 to 15 sessions...(including lessons being taught)...just took a look and 24 sessions on currently.

Any audio interface will work, Nick. The GDEC -3 will make it easier to connect, but many have the basic interface or a USB mic (some have said that the BLUE snowball mic works fine) and you can talk to the others as well as jam.

It seems that if you have a small amp with a heaphone output, you can download ASIO4ALL and plug right into your soundcard with a 1/8" adapter.

That's what one kid is claiming he's using right now?

+1

Too bad my free trial ran out. I just can't afford to keep paying for it.

lite ash - did you have some good jams during your trial and what did you use for an interface?

I'm enjoying the trial, but finding that many just want to 'show off' rather than jam.
