Ah, 1969, the high school dance gigs, with fender vibroluxes, leslies, and big tuck and roll Kustoms baby! How many of you veteran cosmic rockers remember these babies bein' commonly seen wherever musicians got their groove on?! I'm tempted to buy it, as it's a tuber, but hauling it around would surely get old quick! I sure love that style though!

sale-wutue-1650857563@craigslist.org Can someone please assist this old fart with the link to this craigslist post at madison wi? And maybe post some "struxions" for me? I will be eternally grateful. Please use easy words with as few sillibles as possible. Seriously, thanks very much! :D

Is this the one you are talking about, Kustom tuck n roll?

http://madison.craigslist.org/msg/1650857563.html

Looks pretty cool. I have a Kustom tuck n roll amp head in Blue Sparkle that's still in pretty good shape, four channels, 200 watt. I used to use it for my bass but went with a combo unit now. They are cool.

I remember them as being solid state amps. So does wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kustom_Amplification

The head would weigh about eight pounds. I kid, but if you ever looked in side one of those old solid state amps, the heads were basically empty.

Oh, yeah, those were simpler, still prolematic, but truly golden times.

Thank you for sharing. A Chicago stage which had an ES-335, a Jaguar, a Thunderbird, backed by a Twin Reverb, a Showman and blue Kustom still is a beautiful memory.

Oh yeah, I remember all of those.
Had a Kustom amp just like this in silver sparkle.

It sounded good with my Gibson SG, but not with my Strat.
So after a while I traded it in for a silver face Twin. :P :P :P

Anyone remember the DanElectro reverb unit? That, a fuzz and a wah-wah pedal pretty much covered the effects of the day.

Good old days,

Yeah, you do remember correctly, i was at a website this morning where they listed all the colors. Red and blue were listed, and teal, the white as in the pics here, some kind of charcoal grey, gold, silver, and a flat black vinyl with no sparkle in it, looking like office chair covering. I think that's it, if i remember right this time! LOL!
