my mim strat came with 9's. they seem a little light to me, but i have several packages of extra strings, and if i go up to 10's i'll need a set-up.

i guess i'll stay with the 9's

I started playing jazz on my trumpet when I was in middle school. Now that I'm in collage I'm learning guitar from a bunch of jazz guitarists. So I use 12's and am about to change to 13's. They sound great but do slow me down. Also strats are great for jazz!
