Here's the pix of my 81 Traynor TS-15,if anyone can recognize the speaker type please let me know. The black rocker switch is a master volume that apparently runs it at 1/4,1/2 and full power and you can get tube like distortion at really low volumes.Peter Traynor spent a couple of years researching to get a tube tone from a solid state and he succeded.

That must be the coolest looking home amp ever, them twin 8's are real eyecatchers. It looks almost like a mini mesa.

Thanks Nik,they are really exceptional speakers and can playy really clean but can kick out the jams when run hard.I know tha Traynor used Marslands in some earlier amps but they usually had the name printed on them and that they produced speakers in-house for the more powerful SS amps but these are a mystery.

Hi CV,it's a bit of guesswork really, the guy I bought it from said he bought it new in 1979 but it wasn't realeased until 81 so by all likelyhood that would be the earliest date he could have bought it.I got the info from a Traynor history put up on the www. traynoramps.com site.

I just got an email from Mike Holman of Traynor Amps/Yorkville Sound and found out that the amp is an 82 and that the speakers were made by RSC-Radio Speakers of Canada and that they went out of business about 20 yrs ago.
